Shipping Policy

  1. Light a Lantern does not have a physical retail store. We are an online retailer and deliver nationwide. We do not allow for order collections from our office or warehouse, unless prior arrangement has been made with our dispatch team, and this special concession is at our convenience and is discretionary.
  2. The service we offer is a door-to-door service, unless we send it counter to counter to your local post office due to your location. This means that the shipment is delivered to the address not the person. i.e. If the person is not available it shall be left with anyone at that address e.g. security, staff, reception, etc.
  3. It is mandatory to leave a telephone or mobile number for us to contact you during delivery hours.
  4. You can track the status of your order online at www.trackmyparcel.co.za using the tracking number we provided.
  5. Standard Shipping will take 2 to 4 working days and is offered to you on checkout.
  6. Standard Shipping cost between R90 to R100.
  7. Some items (heavy or large, based on volumetric weight) may carry additional delivery fees. These additional fees are included in the shipping cost upon checkout.
  8. Express Shipping can be arranged at an additional cost.
  9. Light a Lantern will from time to time offer promotional shipping rates, for example free delivery for certain products.
  10. Light a Lantern reserves the right to amend shipping costs at any time. All changes will be disclosed here.
